New Plan

With the realization that we only made two desserts so far since the start of the project, we hope to quicken our pace by managing our time better. Our initial plan was to bake desserts for the entire class, but due to the limited amount of time we have and the cost of the ingredients needed, we devised a new plan. Instead of baking desserts for the whole class, we are planning to make just a few samples for our friends to taste. This way, we can be more economical with the project. At the end of the year, we hope we will be able to bake desserts for the whole class to enjoy to conclude our Passion Project. Hopefully, when majority of projects from other classes are over (which will be around February) we will have more time to invest into making these desserts. We hope that additional time will help us prepare better and learn the recipe. Extra preparation may prevent some of the issues that are causing the desserts to fail. Another possible solution is seeking help and advice from Mrs.Walsh, our advisor. We haven’t been talking to Mrs.Walsh since our initial visit, so with her expertise in baking, it may help us solve the issues that we are having. She may even have some interesting ideas on desserts that are simple to bake but also tasty at the same time! This week we will be making dalgona, and it will be our first time making it! Fortunately, all the essential ingredients were bought. We’re planning to make it on Wednesday currently, but there are multiple factors that may affect the date such as science fair, studying for tests and quizzes, and doing projects for other classes. Generally, we don’t expect a low for this dessert because melting and burning sugar is similar to that of the popcorn ball recipe we tried a few weeks ago, and that certainly did not go well at all...
