Since we made cinnamon rolls last week, this week we decided to make a Christmas-related dessert. Initially we thought that we should create an assortment of sweets, such as decorated cupcakes and cookies. However, I realized that it was difficult and strenuous making cinnamon rolls on its own, and it only requires 7 ingredients and approximately 2 hours! With this in mind, I found some recipes on the same website that I could use that contained a few inexpensive ingredients. I’m already broke from buying science fair materials, and I am pretty sure my parents are going to kick me out of the house when they see their balance on their credit cards. In addition, I nearly spent a hundred dollars alone on an English project recently (spontaneous and last-minute trip to Michael's was a bit crazy), so I cannot afford (literally) to add fuel to the fire.

I knew that baking would not be an easy task. As a matter of fact, I didn't think it would go too smoothly either, but I had hope. I believed that we can make some fabulous desserts that everyone would enjoy, but reality struck quickly. It is difficult being in nearly all advanced classes, and on top of the daily workload, we are assigned numerous projects. On top of the work, there is another part of reality that we must consider. Money. It is not cheap to bake, but despite the obstacles, we will be trying our best. We will be planning to bake some Christmas-themed desserts that are both economical and tasty at the same time!
